that's not entirely true, not every single professional website designer just codes every website from scratch. As a matter of fact quite a few use a template just to get the feel of what they're going for, then only use like 1 or 2 parts in that template for the overall design. All of our websites, except for the blog, are not made from templates. MangaPage uses a css that i added and modified, even the blog, although using a template, was heavily modified to get where it is.

Website design isn't just about coding the whole thing without using tools or guidelines. It's the same as using a bucket to carry water rather than your hands :P . If you had a choice between coding your own tables in a website from scratch or using a table designer that had every feature in the book, which would you choose?

btw lostclimate, wordpress also has multiple css features, if you wish you could write your own from scratch and still use alot of their tools, i highly recommend it.

Yes, but most codes will want to write there own core code , and most will not use code generators at all.

I know i prefer to code it myself then just use the codes i have made, for a majority of sites i work on.

But i do you other peoples scripts that are online and modify them, i also get design ideas from templates but always write the code myself.

Programming is more than just bad-style coding.

It's amusing that you don't get the point. I read your offer on your website, in which you promote your HTML/PHP/MySQL skills. You can believe me or not: There is more about making good software than just coding.
And I may say, that I have enough experience to judge your skills by what I saw. Sry, but my opinion.

I really can't follow your explanations, I can't find the sense behind it. The site in my signature is - let's say - dead, as the text on the page says.
Although, I don't see any reason for using vulgar language. Please stop this.

I know, but I don't think it's useful if I ignore a user as a moderator. One more burden a moderator has to take. I need to have an open ear for every user.
