I used 3ds Max v.6 to make the tracks, and used the Malabar tools to do the exporting into WED. So basically WED was not used at all really; perhaps just to place an odd model and set some actions. I'm not sure if the Malabar tools work with newer versions of Max, or are still up for sale. However, while I haven't followed Jcl's updates as of late on WED's importer from .fbx, this could very well be a good way to do it as well. Everything in my project is models, there are no blocks at all. I would recommend learning how to model first, it takes alot of work to learn how to properly model a racetrack, and then focus on finding a good workflow into WED; don't waste much time working with WED itself(though it's good for learning basic design).

The games coming along pretty good; I'm getting quite near to completion. Although there is still a few hurdles to overcome, mostly in the multiplayer area. I hope to make an official press release and the such very soon, then follow that up with a trailer. This should be done within a month. A demo will come afterwards, but I cannot say when exactly, because I want to make sure it's very solid before this. I don't think it will be for sale until the fall. I haven't found a publisher, but I aim to try for Steam and other ways of distribution soon. Thanks for your continued interest, I will make sure to post any updates here. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. smile

Just wanted to say, after seeing the video, looks great, especially in motion and almost definitely a lot of fun to play!

Good luck with it.

Eyp , same questions as Janerwac13 smile
Is the game written in C++ or Lite-c Pure or C-Script ? have you made the minimap for the races and battle areanas?
And the level road is it one model imported in WED directly , or "glued" parts of Road in WED ?

Thanks for all your support guys! To answer your questions, The game is written with Lite-C Pure and the minimap was made using resources found within this forum. The levels, are made out of models and done in 3ds Max. Most everything I learned was done through searching the forums and manuals.
