It would be considered more professional if it started to include working frameworks for more than a very primitive FPS. I enjoy playing around with it, but when I come out of the 3DGS shell that I bought into when I purchased the package, and look at some of the other (some FREE) engines, I get quite frustrated. Instead of working on all of these new features that are poorly documented and hard to understand and implement, Conitec should take a long hard look at improving the interface, simplifying the creation process, and providing well documented processes for pipeline and game development. There have been some attempts to do this for them, like AUM, this forum, and various wikis, but the real effort should be coming from Conitec. Give us the tools to build a more professional game and sales will take OFF!
Ahh, feels good to vent. I know that most development issues are related to the ability and skills of the developer, however, trying to put in a screw with a hammer is tough.
Cheers!
