in fact, everything seems to be new. (the internal "chrome process system.") That can't be right as it's using an older version of the core backbone of Safari... there's even a bug in Chrome now that still makes a weakness of that backbone exploitable. So... the interface may be new and it may be fast, but I am still holding of this boat for a little longer, Cheers

...and safari uses apples webkit which is based on khtml which has been the html rendering engine in konqueror (kde) for sooo long. so google is porting linux software to windows, what a revolution. how is it porting linux software? chrome uses webkit as well. for me it opens faster than ff3, and i prefer the chrome interface as well. i've never used safari but apparently it has a lot of features unseen in other browsers. julz

I am beginning to think that the browser will become good, but right now it has to fix its share of cons(security problems like a suseptibility to carpet-bombing attacks and DoC vulnerability) But for right now I like it, mainly for what I think it has for potential. It is very fast, which is a major plus for me. some intial speed tests
