you really think that? Ive always thought they made shitty engines (aside from there networking work) and shitty art (they hide behind cartoony work because it makes content much easier to create) and just make exceptional gameplay. (leaning more towards the actual warcraft games, not wow, i hate wow)

I totally agree with you there though. The reason they canned Starcraft Ghost was because the art-design was done lousy ánd the engine was mediocre. Usually they get at least one of these two right.

I don't know, in general I think Blizzard is a good studio, but there's so much unjust hype going on the last few years just because they made Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft over 10 years ago... it's quite unreal.
