if truespace finish their FBX EXPORTER sometime this year i believe you will have direct link their too. I am going to work on a pipeline document to show the beginners and some oldtimers the workflow for most if not all apps that are used in game development with regards to 3d gamestudio.

Truespace already has collada export. Its a pity there is no support in 3d gamestudio yet.

With both Collada and FBX export we should have no problem with exporting animations anymore. No more filling the gaps slacer wink

cheers

Moggy

I would use Blender(free), Truespace(free) and Gamespace(if you still can find it) wink for animation and if you really need to use extra programs for animation then characterfx(free), fragmotion(cheap shareware) and milkshape3d(cheap shareware)

These tools would and should be enough to export models for your game worlds!!!

With Fbx and Collada being the exporters for animation!

3ds gamestudio, Torque and fpscreator(please more speed) would be the driving engines hahaha ;p There are other engines out there, but these will do fine wink

Cheers Moggy
