what i hate about fpsc is you cant really do what you really want. (ok some users does real good things but...) It's like making maps for a fps game with avg. features, limited scripting.

there is a (semi-outdated) fps tutorial series on here : http://au.conitec.net/although it may be outdated, it is still useful and if you just ask on the forum about problems you have you should be fine. it really is a great in depth tutorial.
