Looking forward to where you're taking this.

My graphic card is Ati HD3850. i see 65 fps on my pc.But now i use another pc(HD3600) and you are right. i found, why fps is 30. This is about of "ShoreTile.xy"

ShoreTile==10 FPS 66

ShoreTile==100 FPS 32

i will fix it wink

works great here. very well done.
the only 3 things I'd criticise:
-it's too easy to create weird effects, when sliding the sliders around a lot. but with a bit of playing and experimenting, it's fine.
-i'd like to enter values instead of the sliders. sometimes it's hard to get a value between 1 and 10 when the slider goes from 1 to 500.
-the tiling is a little obvious when you try to get very small waves... but I guess higher res-textures should get rid of that effect.

nice work!

The water and waves look great! I don't think there has been to many water shaders around here that generate waves as well. smile

Awe-some View!

I'm a noob in shaders, and something like this is always fascinating for me. =)

It's really simple. Load a setting (!) and then change the values. The camera control is the usual one I think.

@Emre: I was wondering how an object like a boat or floating wood would have to be positioned that I looks realistic.
Basically, how can I find the hight of the waves at a specific point?
After that I guess that getting multiple points along the object and the adjusting the angle to the wave form would have to work...

@Esper: The only manual that i have prepared in this video
i can't do any manual for the tuning settings.Because my english is not enough and i have no time for this yet.i am so sorry for this.

@Hitsch: This is a shader vertex animation. This is not a Lite-c(engine) animation.
i don't know how to you find vertex position for an object like a boat or floating wood. confused

And dear friends, for any question or feedback about the water editor, you can use this post
Have a nice day...
