I can't choose which script format to choose for my game!

WDL script: It often makes strange errors and bugs, and doesn't recognize some commands like ENTITY*name; Also when I try to compil exe there is an error: ,,No C script in WDL!"
but it supports the command path("directory\\folder"); which is very important for me

C-script: It always works properly, but doesn't recognize the path("directory\\folder"); command...

I tried to include WDL script with the paths in the C- script, but there's error again...

Someone has better suggestion ?

WDL is C-Script. It's the format of C-Script codes.

I mean the difference between Script.c and Script.wdl
The extension of the script file changes its functionality a lot.

If you are new at 3dgs use Lite-C. Lite-C is newer then c-script and have a lot more features.

it is: PATH "files\\models"; // Suche Modelle auch im Work-Unterordner "files\modelle"
Problem: Scripts which were included with #include canīt be in a folder below, only if this is special written in the include

Lite-c can do everything C-script can do and more.

C-Script is alot more easier and older than lite-c, but also alot less flexible. You wont get as much support for c-script anymore than you get for lite-c on this forum.

Lite-C is much more dynamic and way more features, but some difficult concepts come with that as well. Lite-C takes a longer time to learn, but will definitely be worth it in the end.

And Using #PRAGMA_PATH "path\\to\\code" you can define paths for lite-c code files.
