Hey there, i am searching for a small portable mixer solution, maybe with an amplifier included. It should at minimum have 6 Input channels, one headphone and speaker jack and a stereo output for external ampification.

it should not be digital, something more vintage smile

so if anyone has experiences with such things, i'd gladly hear some recommendations.

thanks and cheers,
ello

I'd take a look at the Behringer Eurorack or the Behringer 1002 B. The latter is 10 channels and only costs about 100 bucks. (The 'B' stands for Battery, it'll also run on batteries.)

It's a budget brand, so don't expect top of the line quality, but on the other hand this means it's cheap too.

To be honest though, most battery operated mixers are 4 channels and not 6 or more.

There are a few more brands that come to mind, like Mackie, but from the top of my head I do not recall any that are truly portable.

thanks, that (1002b) looks quite good. i am not looking for top of the line quality, more for something to just take with me and my two electribes smile

specially for just being mobile you cant want more... i'll watch out for that one ...

Ahh, I see, well for Electribes, sound wise, they're certainly good enough!

It's more in the vocal and FX area where there are much better alternatives for an acceptably higher price.

That reminds me, the Behringer 1002 b doesn't have a built-in FX processor, but with the correct routing of the two Electribes you probably can use their FX just fine. Even in all kinds of crazy loops. smile
