Cool.
Oh, btw, to all posting, tough this is no project thread, feel free to add a screenshot of your FPS if you want, but not more please.
Or is this against any forum rules?

I'm also working on a fp(s) grin game.
It was meant to be adventure-shooter but I decided to go for sword/staff fighting once I managed to implement and adapt Glorious Battle script for first person game (...still not finished with adapting and testing). GB is a great, great contribution. Only obstacle avoidance is a bit off.

@Ganderoleg :
In fact pure sword games are not really fun if you don't add some distance firing magic powers !

Soem ideas i have for you , just personnal ideas : now it's your game grin !!
Well , in fact i have an idea that be cool for oblivion style game :
Depending on your weapon : sword , spear , the distance to touch ennemies could change a lot : with FPS you never really see visually the distance as well as on 2D games !!
So for 3D View : a visible indicator on floor showing how far you could hit would help a lot to visualise when you can hit ennemies depending on weapon lenght!

Another idea : For example a whip or magic fire ball could touch very far , but with lot more less damage than a sword : So you could switch between distance and range weapons as ennemies approach to you !

In fact Bioshock is the game that really shows what adventure mixed with FPS and RPG can do !
If they had done a more open universe with real outdoors (not only water), i would have appreciated it even more laugh

why magic powers? No one needs this lovely Elves and Gay-Wizards.

Since 3 weeks I play a certain game each night. A Game that makes me angry because its stealing my time away.
I realy hate it for that.
I hate it because it actualy cut me off from my 3DGS hobby project.

Ahhmm.....anyway.

Its a medieval style game. Looking simple at the first moment - nothing special.
But after a few hours I was trapped.

The Game is called Mount & Blade

It creates this Play-Drive that I missed very much in several AAA-Titles. Someone saying it has a bad graphic but no one who ever played it care about that because it has a great GAMEPLAY.

And it has NO magic weapon stuff. For looting Villages and Towns I need no fire-rain but a heavy horse and a sword.
