Actually, mesh reducing is very important, for keeping a high framerate. You see, my characters in my project have 5 LOD levels, and mesh reducing grin

@Xarthor: The last one(the LOD3) is only a 6-sided box ^^ - yeah i also thought about a normal/bump map but there are 2 things:

1. I donīt know how to create a good one smirk
2. The computer has more than one skin, so i donīt know how to manage that frown

If you could tell me how to do this, i would be very happy laugh

well yeah, I know that. I mean why did he model every little detail that you cant tell the difference between that and a texture, especially when he could make it look almost exacty the same with 36 polys and a normal map.

Normal maps can easily be created with that NormalMapCreator, is in the goodies pack in the download section I think.
And to the skin problem: Just make sure that every second skin is the normal map for the skin before, and you're fine.

hm , i tried installing the normal map generator twice, everytime after i created a normal map, it crashed, and i canīt make another one frown
