I just oredered a7 comm, but when I installed 7.8 on a fresh install of Win7 Ult. As soon as it started it said 'trial expired' or some such. The registry is completely new, how can it expire.

I ordered the key, but my cc info is delayed apparently so I need to try getting the trial to work again so I can get back to testing.
I say "againm" because I had it working on the Win 7 beta before I installed Ultimate.

Unfortunately it is really not possible to fix this. Your trial is over, you’ll just have to wait until your key is given to you.

How could my trial be over on a new install of Windows? I only installed it on the previous version about a week ago in case there was a file saved somewhere that prohibits that.

How long has it been since you first installed the trial for the first time.

About 4 days before I did the install, and on my other machine, I didn't even have any version on my other machine, but a fresh install said trial expired.
I'm hoping my key will show up in my inbox soon, but I would like to get some work done in the mean time.

I really don't know how to fix that, but it only takes about
4 - 25 hours to get your key from the moment of punches. It's better just to wait. Ones you get your key put it in the same location as the installer file then just reinstall.

Nevermind, I got the key, it just took the full 24 hours

I tried to install it on Windows 7, and it didn't work. Now I'm back on XP and it's working great.

Heh, Windows 7 isn't even compatible with itself. What a lame OS.

Seriously, the only reason I still use it is because 3DGS only works on Windows.
