(Maybe the rest was also set up with gamestudio)

wait so they created a working fake game just to show it in a few scenes in that show?

Yes, it shows some old nerd playing an RPG, and talking
funny frases, when the complete internet shuts show.
Then calling out loud "Mom, the internet is not working!"

Its probably just a fake animated scene, with
the panel graphics just placed as prop.
Looks realistic though.

that's weird. they don't have to pay licences to show a real pc game, do they?

edit: maybe the son of the producer lingers around in these forums and his daddy wanted to show his selfmade game?

They probably did not want to bother with copyright
issues with real game, and needed a flashy
disconnection sequence (white noise) which is not realistic,
but served the drama.
Their CGI department probalby set up this seuqunce quickly
with stuff they had around.

Still, it's pretty cool to see our good friend "warlock" in a popular television series.
