I keep getting the same message when i try to debug my game. The message is... Main Script not found-check Preferences.
umm... can someone give me the correct settings in Options/Preferences. when i play a sample script this message does not appear. So I tried an experiment... I copied and pasted. When i tried the debug i got the same error message.
Please help!!!!!

A7 is asking for the name of your script file, which you apparently have not given. Open Options>Preferences and input the filename of the script file into the box. Then you can debug/run your script.

If you are not using a main file then why are you trying to debug a script you are not using?

I'm guessing, but you've probably moved the script after setting it in the 'Main Script to Run' textbox,

try using 'Debug -> Run Current' and see what that says?

Hi uh... I tried doing that but it said i cant open it. Do you have any other tips. Where can i get other information on this?

You have to save the script before you can test it.

Make a full detailed note about all your steps from starting the A7 to start the script.

Expand this note with your settings. To do this:

• start SED
• click Options
• click Preferences
• write down what is in this combobox: Main script to Run/Publish
• click Environment tab (here in the Preferences window)
• write down what is the last checkbox, named Use the current file for Test Run

That would be also fine if you would be so kind to inform us what A7 version do you use.

Collect all this information and dump them into a nice formatted post here in the Forum. I am sure you will get a lot of useful answers.
