Hi Gamers,
Didn't know who to contact for this help, so please redirect if necessary.
I have nearly finished a tut. on 6 sided skinning for MED 6.911 (I can't find one in Wiki.)
It contains the steps to create a wooden beam with option of bending it after skinning. It will contain pictures as well as written instructions.
If you think it would be of use to those who a are new to skinning, please advise me as to how I 'upload' it into Wiki as I have never done this before.
David (david@davidmoreton1.wanadoo.co.uk)

PS. have tried all the Moderators but get 'not connected'

Thanks Mikaldinho for advice, but I need to know what format it should be in and HOW to upload it! Never done this before.
Is there someone at 3DGS who looks after this kind of thing?
David

Maybe create it as a HTML-Doc . Like my Blender Tutorial (can be founded on my blog).
I use a free Funpic Host for all my Images / models / scripts / tutorials and so on.

as rvl-exile said, you could do that. to upload thing search upload files on google and then take your pic. on most of the uploading compaies online you just choose your file, press upload and it will come up witha link. just copy and paste the link. visit my website (link in sig) and view my downloads page because that is a good example of doing that several times over.

Thanks Exile,
Do you know who I should contact at 3DGS to post the tut. to?
Don't know how to set it up in HTML - sorry, not very clever at this sort of thing. I could do it in PDF - I think! The pictures would then be embedded.(again,I think!)
thanks again, David

pdf would be best, as it includes all source files (images, text) and pdf readers are available for all platforms.
So I'd choose pdf

Thanks Xarthor,
I still need to know who to send to for approval etc. (I assume it would have to be approved first)
I've looked on Wiki, but no one is mentioned for this purpose.

The wiki is a community project, thats why everyone can edit it as far as I know.
So just feel free to upload it to some webspace (or the wiki directly) and fill it into the right category etc.
Maybe write a little description about and add it, so that the users know what the can expect in that pdf file.
