does anyone know of or has a shader that can blur panels? is it possible with shaders?

naah i kinda need something more intense, like blurring all background panels when a certain panel is in the foreground

Using view entity instead of panel? So you can actually apply shader on it?

but.. the panel is not rendered in a view? i mean :S
I tryed that once because i needed, and the panels on back of the panel that i want to appear blured .. did not appear.. ?

but.. does that "blur" also blurs underlayer panels?
PANEL A > BLUR
PANEL B> is under A, with text..

DOES A blurs A ? or just blurs the 3d WORlD?

as Quadraxas sayd: don`t use panels, use a view entity instead. So you can add a material to it that blurs or one that don`t blurs.

lol, naah, with menus this complex panels are the only way, also a view entity wont help because they are drawn above pp effects correct?
