WHAT does it look like? you could probably screen or overlay it on your diffuse texture with PS or smiliar tool.

As quadraxas said, open PS or Gimp, open the Texture, create a new layer import the AO Tex, set the translucent of the AO Layer to ~75 (or try another value)...
In this way i apply all AO Maps to my models...

Alternatively, since AO should really only apply to the ambient lighting of a model, you could have it as an extra skin and do it pretty simply in a shader. Have you looked at the shader workshops (on the download page or under "Online Tutorial" at the top left of the page)? In my opinion, anyone with Commercial edition or higher should at least do the first 2 workshops. It'll take almost no time at all and give you enough understanding to do this yourself Jibb

Sorry guys, never heard of 'second skin set'? Here is (almost) the beginning of its history on 3DGS: ventilator's mesh plugin Nowadays, you can create a model with several tiling skins, _and_ with a second uv layout for the shadows like AO, and, after importing it in MED, you can activate it with a single click in Edit -> Activate Second Skin Set. Start the Preview to see that it blends without further ado!

After activating the skin, you can 'swop' from one skin set to the other and have look onto it in the skin editor, or save it and have a look in the preview. I just made a fast test, making an atlasmapping of two halfs of a torus, then activate second skin set, atlasmapping of the whole torus. Then I gave the skins different colors, saved that, had a look in the preview. "Swopped" the skin sets, saved and had a look again, works. Looks a bit wired, because non of them is a typical grey scaled shadow map.
Maybe, you try this, before you try it with the model from normalx, to get an idea of the requirements.
My guess is that you don't have too different skin sets. Maybe, you have to export in the Skin Editor the Skin Mapping, activate the second skin set, and import that skin mapping, again. I don't know.
