given that (V):

1.) sqrt(a*b)=sqrt(a)*sqrt(b)
2.) i=sqrt(-1) <=> 3.) i²=-1
4.) 1=(-1)*(-1)
5.) sqrt(1)=1
6.) i*i=i²

then

1+1=1+sqrt(1) --> V5
=1+sqrt[(-1)*(-1)] --> V4
=1+sqrt(-1)*sqrt(-1) --> V1
=1+i*i --> V2
=1+i² --> V6
=1+(-1) --> V2
=1-1=0=1+1


--> 1+1=0

your first assumption holds only for non-negative a and b.

I know TUSC back in the days had a huge pagelist as well... dont think quite as long as this thread though.
