ok here is my first sculpt ever... in my life... the hair's not done yet (struggling a little, because i don't actually know how to sculpt it it properly)



if anyone is willing to give me a hand with a link to a tutorial or a tecnique on sculpting hair, i'll be very grateful... i want to achieve an art deco+CCCP socialist look, here and here are some ideas.

PS: needless to say that sculptris kicks some MAJOR ass... i own 3D Coat, but sculptris is million times easier to use.

Yeah, it is amazing.
I think you already got the main shape of the hair.
All you need are some reference pics and continue working on the hair with switching between the pinch tool(big size) and the flatten tool to get the strains a bit more seperated.

i was trying a similar approach, but i was using too many brushes and the sculpt just lacked (and still does a little) style...

I would definitely remove the belt, you could add it later again as a second mesh (in a different application, Blender f.i.).
