According to the beta page, the actual functions don't change. They're "less resource hungry", though.

I guess its just the frustration all those "developers" get after seeing how they cant possibly keep up with todays games (a sad fact, A7 cant do shit against any modern engine) that make them bash each other in the user forums.
A8 to the rescue!

NOT CORRECT.you can see all post's in the forum,if any one ask's,he/she will get an answer, but that's depend's on the question!.
besides if one user replied badly, that's doesn't mean that the whole forum is BAD.

In relation to actually talking about A8 multiplayer improvements-

Is there going to be any improvement in terms of speed? One game project I had been working on a few months ago I had to put on hold because the client players were too jittery...

Hey The_clyde, have you already tryed the multiplayer workshop from Aum. Because I once was working on a multiplayer project and also stopped because I had clients who behaved kinda jittery. But when I studyed the Aum multiplayer and started to work from those codes, it al works better for me.

Yes, the A8 multiplayer system is (or for you = will be) faster than the old. They changed it to the enet system.
