For like a year or so, Images in Posts are
displayed in a scaled down Format. (if they are wider than 300px or so)

Can this be reverted back to show them in their original resolution?

Either this or change the maximum width of an image to ~800px, please.

where is the problem? if you want to see them in full-res rightclick->view image.
I think this is a pretty handy way for displaying them.
