Secret Of The Sword - Castle Rooms

Hello to all,

Secret Of The Sword project was my first, more serious 3D game development (learning)project and my first, more serious encounter with 3D Game Studio smile Development of the game started in 2007 as a fan-creation inspired by He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe cartoon from the '80 & it combined full 3D environment together with 2D animated characters. At every segment I tried to re-create & imitate in my own way some of the most known 2D design solutions from cartoon and transfer them into 3D geometry.

Later, when my good friend Ivan Gligorijevic (music & audio effects) joined in on the project, the decision was made to abandon the fan-creation domain & to develop fully original 3D game, so Secret Of The Sword turned into Blade Of Power.

Castle Rooms is the first & the oldest level from the Secret Of The Sword set of levels that I made. The entire level, since it's originally created with A6 that had no export to MDL/FBX, is block-wmb-based.

The level is adventure-oriented(no combat) & completely playable(can be finished). There is also a small end-game statistic that shows you how long it took you to finish the level & with how much health smile

You can download the level here:

Enjoy the oldies smile

Thanx smile
I am not near my computer at the moment & won't be for a few days but if I remember right the code for your room is visible when you approach the terminal &, once inside, you will be able to get the code for Teela's room.

The corridor leading to Duncan's(Man-at-arms) room is guarded by the robot. You need Teela's identification card in order to pass him smile

Hope this helped smile

I've returned from my holiday few days ago & created a small walkthrough video. Here is the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Om45r23g3dY

@Iglarion
Thanx, it was my first, more serious, game design try & I've spent many hours on these corridors.

@Rackscha
Yeah, the entrance to the royal chambers was a part of another quest but, because of a small bug, it can be passed once the main quest is finished, just before player enters the secret passage that ends the level.

@PadMalcom
I was a big MOTU fan when I was a kid. Always liked Hordak more then Skeletor though grin

Btw did anyone manage to finish the level without running into any bugs or glitches?
