How do I export 3D models from 3DS MAX and import them into MED? I tried exporting to *.3DS file and importing into MED but after inserting the 3D model into WED, compiling the level, and trying to run a program from SED, I get a message saying that acknex.exe has stopped working. Both 3D model and its texture appear in both MED and WED.

You say the you compile from WED but then you run from SED... What happens when you try running from WED?
BTW... You can also export from MAX as an .obj file and import that into MED Then save as an .mdl file then add to the level through WED... compile and run through WED...

If I create a 3D model in WED, no problems. I am confused with texture mapping in WED. I don't know why acknex.exe stops working when I try to run a program from SED if I create 3D model in 3DS MAX.

I found out that I have to use "File/Import" in WED instead of MED but if WED splits large meshes while compiling the level, acknex.exe stops working when I try to run a program from SED or from WED. I think that 3D Game Studio doesn't support large 3D meshes. Any suggestions?
