The bottom opens up and releaces a 40 ton weight! (I love that) Now THAT is the defonition of stupid and maybe funny. A still shot of the 40 ton weight that came out of the decoy 30 ton weight. I havent came up with a name for this one yet. (@indiglow: thanks for the J.I.S. name, its perfect! ) Download http://anotherworld.pyxishost.com/red_button/red_button.mdlYou can use and modify the model anyway you want. Freeware! I hope you guys like this one too. All comments welcome What will I come up with next?!?!

I just wanted see some of the sketches for this one: high-impact quantum dairy creamer when placed into a cheap 2-day old styrofoam cup of gas station coffee, an intense reaction spawns a dreaded supersonic cow which gains speed and mass as it is hurled upward into space. After exceeding the speed of light and traveling back in time, it eventually plummets back through the atmosphere in a fiery blaze and collides with a random ancestor of the unfortunate coffee drinker, thus eradicating itself, the event, and the poor java-chugging victim in the future. Stealth = Yes. The target doesn't see the cow coming as it takes the long way around. Projectile = Yes. That's one very fast, giant flaming hamburger. Ammo = It's a one shot termination. See above. Model = No. Models. Min. ingredients = target, gas station, cup, coffee, creamer, cow, earth + atmosphere, some stars, Einstein holding semi-transparent clock and shaking his head, time-flash, motion trails, meteor-like blaze, ancestor with dazed look-up animation, crater, optional barbecue cult members I'm sure your team could crank out a reasonable simulation of high-impact quantum dairy creamer in 1.7 days.

Yes I have to say A-Man is 2 for 2! I like the sillyness of the 40 tonne inside the 30! ha totally silly!!! Can he make it 3 in a row??? As for the time-traveling-cow I think we would need some sketch work before we could sit down and render up an animated sequence! lol funny though.... Also nice that you tried to fit your cow idea to the the S.P.A.M acronym Fantastic ideas, lets see some more this competition is the daddy

Well, now seems like a nice time for a new idea What evil could I possibly unleash with a cup of coffee and suger? Consiter this senerio... You are about to drink your moring cup of coffee at <insert your favorate restarunt that serves coffee here>, you notice that there are an extra 192 poly's in your coffee / suger. You shrug it off and continue your normal routine. You open your generic suger and pour it in the coffee, unfortionatly it all comes out in one chunk of "suger". But then.... Your coffee starts shakeing violently. Now you are really woried, but somehow mesmorized by the magical shaking coffee. While you ponder about how to market this.... You relieze that the "suger" wasnt actually suger at all! It was some super evil re-useable, coffee activated, contraption. But its too late to run. The contraption leaps out of the coffee expands tramendously. Spikes practly appear from noware... and smush! Download... http://www.anotherworld.pyxishost.com/evil_joe/evil_joe.mdlGee, that seemed rather violent. -shrugs- So, can anyone think of a moral for the story?!?! Sorry about the mouse pointers in the two animations, I forgot to move it out of the way. Cheers ~AMan~

Yes, but spawning a moral is much easier if ironic elements are interjected.
What are some of the bad things about sugar? (rots teeth, contains no nutritional value, obesity factor)
So, for example, merely change the setting of the weapon and location of the distributed coffee, with optional sugar, to the waiting room of a dentist's office. The "evil" dentist has a "strange" sense of humor, and has purposely offered free coffee and optional sugar in an attempt to test and punish victims that do not directly perceive the irony of their contradictory actions. Additionally, the contraption emerging from the coffee (is clearly not a cow but), resembles teeth and jaws and may be tagged "Joe's revenge of the sweet tooth", with Joe referring to both coffee-like substances and the name of the dentist.
A good show, nonetheless.
Note: Triple point score for Quote:
It's about time a competition came along that you guys can really sink your teeth into.
which appears in the first post of the thread

Well, I started out with a simple idea from a game called "evil genious" which was that a wall could crush someone. Then I figured, why not make it a bit more odd, so I added spikes.
So, now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my spiky wall. I remember asking my friend about this contest and he said somthing about a model morphing from one thing to the next. I liked the idea, but I had no idea how to implement it.... until now.
I honstly dont know why I made it coffee and suger. I wasnt thinking of the cow idea at all. I guess it was stuck somewhere in my sub-concious. I dont know what happened to the cow or the time warp. -shrugs- Wierd huh?
I really like your senerio better than mine!

Obviously, its not really all that difficult to spin, hatch, or fabricate a new idea , or rehash, elaborate upon, or complicate an existing idea when a reasonable visual representation will not be produced. I have probably completely missed the spirit of the competition, by presenting ideas that likely require an impractical investment in time and resources to display accurately. Of course, flowing with the spirit of competitive spiritlessness, a futile attempt to cheat could be thrown about:
the sinister 60-pound invisible yellow brick o' dread Upon gently impacting with the target's eyes, after being hurled at least 30ft, the brick disperses into fine granules which are completely absorbed instanteously. Shortly thereafter, the poor unsuspecting sap suffers the long-term affliction of yellow dread (fear of the color yellow), which intensifies over time. Eventually, the victim becomes so visually traumatized, that it either resorts to a blindfold and slowly dies from bumping into things or has a heart attack at a traffic light, at a street sign, running from a school bus, from smilie face over-exposure etc. With very little effort, I have supplied a visual representation of the brick.
Of course, anyone could see right through such nonsense. Instead, I opt to no longer excrete half-wit musings in this thread. While such idiot gibberish may not be beneath me, it surely has no place in this reputable contest.
AMan, what do you use to "capture" your animations?

Well then, a invisable brick! :P Now thats an idea! I like your visual too. I use a program called camtasia studio. (http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp?lid=CamtasiaStudioHome) Its kinda expensive. I just have it because my dad uses it for his job. Its really good if you can afford it. Camtasia studio gives me an avi file, which I then convert to gif with a program called AVI-GIF converter. This one is a bit cheaper. ($20 and does the job quite nicely) http://www.ucansoft.com/avigif.htmCheers ~AMan~
