Server is lost i suppose. If anyone has a good uploadspeed, he could serve a permanant SURVIVAL server. Mine woked with just 2 player quite fine. But me network here is too lame. You can download the survival surver here: http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp(Multiplayer alpha server software)

dont know how it will perform though
my downspeed is fast (8 megabytes per second) but upload speed is very slow 128kb / second.
edit: it was good enough i think..
