Hello2all,

I've been thinking of trying how a nice DOF effect would look like in my leveling work. The problem is that I'm clueless not only to which one to use but also to how the DOF effect actually works grin

Last time I looked into this was a long time ago & that DOF system required from levels to be broken into parts with separate actions for each part. Is this still the case? Is there a DOF that could just work like a bloom or blur ppe, without the need to re-design & re-organize the level?

..and what currently available DOF could be considered the best?

Thanx for reply smile I figured that Shade-c could probably have the best DOF around grin

How hard is to implement it? Is protocol the same as for other, more simple, ppe?

...just tried Shade-c DOF: extremely easy to implement, very nice looking, almost no changes to fps. It's great smile

If none believes there is a better DOF around, I think my search is done.

There is always something better out there...eventually it depends on what you are searching for exactly. If it is thought as a key feature it might be worth to think about a more physical based effect.
