Hey Damocles,

Can I ask HOW you worked it out?

Was it just "mental gymnastics" or is there some kind of formula
or process or trick that can be followed for logically 'work out'
the answer?

Something general purpose that is.
I often come up with a series of numbers from various sources and 'wish'
I had a formula to produce them.

FYI - I am NOT looking for a lite-c solution here, Im looking for
general mathematical or analytical concepts.

If its hard to explain, I would be happy with some search-phrases so I can google it.

Thanks muchly dude...

Well, actually im not even good in math.

I took the provided numbers an plottet them on a graph.
Then i realized it was not linear, but looking more like a
"1/x" function.

Then i just looked where the "1=1" "elevation" was,
(270)

From that is was just a bit tinkering with the calcualtor.

Not very impresive I suppose.

---

More propper would be some regressive approximation Math probably,
but thats stuff for the Math guys here.

Ah well...

Regardless of whether you used hyper-mathematics or not,
you got the correct results, and that is not to be sniffed at...
