Make snap options (world, local, delta) available on toolbar like they used to be.

Here's a simple one (and one that had been in a previous version of WED):

Currently the various types of snapping (vertex, world, delta) are under Preferences>View Options. In previous versions of WED these were accessible via the top toolbar. I like to switch between them from time to time and having to go to File>Preferences?View Options is not a quick solution. Can we have this back on the toolbar please?

Fix the old WED duplicate object error

WED still has problems with duplicating items, their positions and snapping. There are two issues with this:

Duplicating via Move+Shift:

When dragging to create a duplicate (Move+Shift) the duplicate is not always snapped properly. For example, if snapping is set to 16 and you drag a duplicate, then you cannot align it with the original (say, if it is a road or a wall, etc). I end up having to go up to the snapping setting and reduce it to something else (8, 4, 2, etc) in order to get the new object to align properly. This should not be the case.

Duplicating via Copy/Paste:

I currently have my offset settings for duplicating set to 0 for each axis. However, there are times when an item in WED is copy/pasted it will still be offset. This does not happen all the time, but sometimes and it can be frustrating.

Fix widget being visible after deselect

When deselecting an object via clicking the Select None button on the toolbar, the move/scale/rotate widget stays visible on the object's center. It is not until you click somewhere else that the widget disappears.

Label numeric entry fields X, Y and Z on Position and Object panels

This may be picky, but shouldn't the numeric fields there be labeled as X, Y and Z? Sure, most of us know what they are are, but isn't it best to have them labeled so that there is no doubt? After all, some people, coming from other 3D applications (not necessarily real-time 3D) may get confused because other coordinate systems may be used. For example, some are Z-up and some are Y-up.

Modernize WED so it behaves more like a modern Windows app

A More Modern UI: Explorer-Like Left-Hand Panels:

We should be able to multi-select items in the panels on the left of WED, especially in the Level tab. Currently only one item can be selected within that panel. We should be able to work that window/panel like you would any standard Windows window:

- Drag a selection around multiple items to select
- click first item, CTRL+Click for another item to select more than one that are not in a row
- Click first item, Shift+Click last item to select first, last and all between
- Double click a name to change it (and not have to go to the Properties window)
- Click+drag multiple items to move them, drop them in created folders, etc
- Etc

Make Go To Object part of the Right-Click menu

Go To Object should be a part of the Right-Click menu and not only accessible via right-clicking on the object name in the Level panel to the left.

Allow for the rest of the level to be seen when scoping down

I would like to have an option to see the rest of the level when I scope down. The rest of the level (that which is currently invisible when you scope down) could be rendered differently ... perhaps transparent, solid or wireframe).

Add Shift+Drag to duplicate multi-selected items

Why can't I Shift+drag multi-selected items to duplicate them all at once without having to put them in a folder first? I would like to be able to do this (obviously).

Fix the left-hand properties panel so that it tells you if there are hidden flags if resized too small

Currently, if you extend the vertical size of the left-hand panel (Level, Presets, Texture, Resources) so that the Properties panel (Properties, Behaviour, Position, Object) at the bottom is smaller, then some of the flags (check boxes), etc, are slid off the screen. There is nothing currently to tell the end-user that some of these are currently not visible. As a result, I did not see the following flags under Properties:

- Shadow
- Passable
- Cast
- BBox
- Metal
- Polygon
- Local

I did not see them for quite some time because I did not know they were there as a result of having expanded the upper Level section to see more of that while moving/organizing items.

WED should tell me that there are flags and things hidden when a panel/window is too small. Perhaps an arrow pointing downward or a scroll bar ... something that says, "Hey! Click me! There's more to see!" There is simply no reason for something to be able to be taken off the screen like this and the end-user not have any idea that these things are there.
