is their a way to create fog over the entire level, i have tried the fog under "Map Properties" but nothing happens. I just want to be able to create a nice light or dense fog across the whole map.

i used the manual (who knew it was actually helpful, lol) and i discovered the d3d_fogcolor1 which works but only on level blocks. So i assume if i want to create fog across models, it has to be done with particles??

Not true...
The fog system works rather well.
A suggestion...
Take an in-depth look at the MystyMood template from the Loopix Projct.
You will find a very good system with different fog values for day, night, good and foul weather and sunset and sun rise.
I use their system.
I find that by downloading one of their template projects... doing a "Save As" and editing the level in wed such as switch out the
terrains etc, you can easily create a new and original project but with a good fog/weather system.
Check it out at... http://www.loopix-project.com/
Click on "Easy" then "Templates".
Have fun !

I thought you'd like that....
It is pretty awesome...
Here's another suggestion...
In the new AUM you will find my Menu II in the "Exquisite Contributions".
Add that to the new "Saved As" Mysty Mood Project and then edit the panel splash screens...
For crying out loud... You will have an original project created quite quickly...
And It's all free to use as you see fit...
But please change all the graphics and trees and terrain etc...
Also, the Mysty code is a bit complicated...
So, you will need to spend some time getting into the designers' heads to figure out about all the variables...
I look forward to seeing screen shots of your projects !
Have Fun...
