3dgs don't support (SED) filenames (project names) with spaces.
e.g. super marion.c

Would be good if such standard syntax names will be supported.

I don't have problems saving and loading files (in SED) with blanks in its filename. Though, is it so important to have blanks, why no underscore? You can rename the final exe as you like, so, if your script is my_game.c and you compile it, you can rename it to my game.exe in the end, so that it looks nice to the user.

Yes that would be a workarround.
(but it's no windows standard)

File name with spaces are clearly NOT nice to the user.

Whenever you want to call it in a bat file you always have problems with spaces.
Use underscores. Period. laugh

nice or not to you - it's a standard (windows, unix, ...) so it should be supported. (even if you don't like it wink )

quote: "...in a bat file..." wellcome in the world of windows.
more than 8.3 is possible!
(ps: use "" to join filenames with spaces)

I know how to handle spaced filenames.
I just wanted to say they are always an annoyance when doing sth. with scripts and parameters.

But ok, it was just a more or less fun-meant statement.
Spaces indeed should work flawless in a Windows environment.
