I was very dissapointed when I heard Wasteland was to be discontinued. All the better that it's reborn!
That's some awesome modeling, but I'd like to see it in-engine...? Renders are always nicer...

Well I can assure you that it will look pretty good, even more colourful. And with normal mapping details here and there at close range. It's all a matter of waiting for havoc's next shade-c release which should come out shortly. I'm a shade-c betatester but the first version I received and currently have is way too buggy.. not worth screenshots yet. This is a test render

Ok i decided to show what i got at the moment.. these shots are done with shade-c off but you can clearly realize that the details are preserved even after the export from 3dsmax. Ambient Occlusion Diffuse + Ambient Occlusion

While that's all looking very nice and very professional, way beyond I could make out of polygons, I think I would focus on the game first and less on the cinematic trailer. Some concept Art should do to get the right feeling across to all team members, but I'd make the game first, then the trailer...

The last image looks a bit strange. The sky is almost completely dark but the terrain is very bright. And the shadows indicate that light comes from the direction of this dark sky. It simply does not make sense when you watch at it and thus it looks not believable.
Apart from that, I really like your models.
