Looks really nice. I like that "cut everything into pieces" feature. :-)

I think I'm going to love this game. They are replacing the dungeon-dungeon-dungeon-endboss mechanic with a new metroid style explore-explore-boss-explore-powerup-explore-boss type gameplay.

Also, I love the new Twilight Princess/Wind Waker art style. In my mind, zelda has never been an "epic" game, so it's good to see it go back to a more cartoony style, while retaining some of the design from the last game.

Lulz.. i think he was saying epic in a literary sense, as opposed to cartoony like it always was before. I could be wrong though.

@redeemer: there was a lot of exploring in ocarina imo. havent played any of them newer than that really though. i started a little tiny bit on the most recent one (for the wii/gcube) but never even played long enough to leave the first town. i still have it and some day I will.

ive been with zelda since the NES days, zelda 1 to be exact. I starte playing the games as early as i was five! and up to this day i never beat zelda II!
i live and breath the series and i am really happy to have a 25 years anniversary this year. i am sure nintendo has some surprises for us in store laugh

oh and about the epic-ness:

Twilight Princess was "epic" although one could argue that compared to what some people call "epic" no zelda ever was. I personally think epic means something way different and to me, most zelda games are epic...

Yes, that's right. I much prefer the less realistic styles of the original zelda, wind waker, and ocarina of time to the uber-realistic twilight princess.

In my opinion though, the best style in any zelda game ever was Majora's Mask. The game switched from the happy hyrule theme to a lost, alone, and dying theme. In my opinion, out of every zelda game ever made, Majora's mask is the best for just that reason. If you have never played that game before, you would do yourself a big favor to pick up a copy right now.

EDIT: I got a little curious and did some searching on google. I found this great article that really sums up the awesomeness that is Majora's Mask:

http://www.zeldainformer.com/2010/10/my-...-ever-made.html

Many of the people I've found have always complained that Majora's mask was too wierd and too different. Well, they're nothing but a bunch of crackpots. If you haven't played this zelda, you are really doing yourself a huge disservice.

I've played Majors Mask too but i don't like it at all somehow smirk But i can see why other people do.

My favorites order is more like this:

Lttp > TP > Wind Waker > Ocarina of Time > Link Awakening > Minish Cap > Zelda 1 > Oracle of Seasons/Ages > Majors Mask

I haven't played the other titles yet.
Luckily everyone has it's own taste tongue
