I got curious about the Gurb and decided to give it a try. It's decent, but in all honesty its a bit amateurish. I find it really strange that it's grabbing all the votes.

Yes... I'm observing the voting with big interests and I also had to assess, that Gurb got its first thee votes in a timespan of under an hour... an now... one day after start of the poll, there are 13 votes?!? I tested all entries... Gurb ist quite good, but there are some better!

Is it perhaps possible to check IP addresses for the multi-accounts?

That doesn't take care of people who ask their friends to register, though.
Anyway, maybe it is possible to let only people who have been registered for a certain time vote, but no new accounts?
