Hey, I'm fiddling around with the menu.. this is how I have it pictured..
but i'm waiting on damocles approval, otherwise I'll think about something else.

I could use a few ideas, thanks! laugh

I really like the look, but I hate it when I can't read stuff. The menu entries should be readable also when they're not highlighted.

Edit: It would also be cool if it zoomed out to show the menu, and the menu itself was zoomed in with it. So it looks like you've been playing the game on this old tv all along.

For menu i think Bold big characters would be lot more good and easy ot read.
Like in Follout New Vegas !



How will be splitted you game ?
-Level based with a map to choose what level to play/replay (last catelvania like) and to level up enought before next level ?
- Big map with dungeons ? (Torchlight like)
- Simple chained levels (Crysis or any other linear game)

Alright this is something new about graphics.
Some old man wastewalker, might become the captain of the desert ship according to the story (mission 1).



We are try to simulate a realistic environment as you might have noticed, not only through photorealism aimed graphics but expecially through programming (ai, physics and so on).
These are the birds, they are picking on the ground and fly scattering away when the player is nearby.

Awesome. I love that kind of npc/flock behaviour. Hope to see a video of it some day?

Birds and things like that are what make an environment believable, in my oppinion.

They also look awesome in those two pictures.

you should add something unique to unique NPCs other than their head. Like different clothes/armor some kind of characteristic that makes that character that characther.

Well, great screens !
For realistic side, yeah , birds brings a lot !
Why not :
- smoke on some nuclear plant on the far horizons ?
- Trees,grass in the wind
- some big walking insects on floor

Well for older NPC , why not modifying the body, make him some more little fat with some more age on the face , with mustache why not ?

Anyway outstanding already for an indie project !
It should be on Showcase 2 or Showcase 3 laugh !!
