Okay i'm really tired, but i just want to post here, so that nobody thinks that the project liteEditor (LED) is dead.

www.dev-software.com/Video_03_05_controller.swf (please keep in mind the subtitles, you can switch on)

As always the editor is a fun project for me, so do not complain about fancy features you'll see in the list / video:
- Language Support for over 20 Languages including c, c++, php, javascript, html, c-lite, wdl etc.
- Code-Metrics analysis for 6 different languages
- Extremly extendable (The whole Code-Metrics thing is a plugin)

As always, if anyone really wants to develop this program to the end (especially: find bugs, or develop plugins), i would love if this someone could send me a pm laugh

Greetings,
Timo

PS: do not ask for a realease date. i will not release the program, before the debugging of local variables have been implemented by jcl..
ps2: sorry sid.. that is of course your code laugh

Looks very nice!
I've had to use Eclipse for Java programming and I did not like it at all, so I thought SED is a nice little code editor and all I need, but LED looks way more comfortable, esp. the detailed debugging functionality is cool!

maybe a plugin for shaders, that allows you to preview your shader in 3d view.

Cool, you are progressing very well.

By the way: it is "Lite-C", not "clite". That hurts my eyes wink

Is it possible to switch the line wrapping off?

PS: And yep, that looks pretty much like my code

Joozey: The Editor already includes a pretty powerful plugin-editor (though ofc it only contains the methods i already needed for my own plugins), which allows to add / change a lot of behaviours.. If you're interested in developing some, just raise your hand.

JustSid: I'm so sorry man.. i just had the wrong name in my head.. frown
Line Wrapping can be changed languages based of course... (e.g. html languages contains line wrapping, while litec code doesn't contain line wrapping)

HeelX: Yeah but clite just sounds cooler.... yeah you're right.. i shall change it laugh

Awesome! Another thing that just came into my mind, is it possible to jump to functions, pragmas, defines and such? Xcode has a awesome feature which displays all these things in a file in a drop down list and clicking on it will take you to the place where the function/pragma/define is.
Here is a screenshot how this looks:
