liteEditor
Hey, This is the "offical" Thread for the first releases of liteEditor - the new Programming Tool for 3D-Gamestudio. So for those of you who have never heard of it. What can you do with liteEditor? - Support for all programming-languages concering 3D-Gamestudio. No Matter if you are a Shader-Programmer, still working with WDL or "already" use C-Lite.
Additionally languages like html, ini, batch etc. are also supported. - Develop new code faster with fewer errors.
- Quickly understand existing code.
- Refractor existing code making it easier to read and cheaper to maintain.
- Eliminate time spent searching by allowing instant navigation to any file, symbol or reference.
- ...
I think most questions will be answered by the following pictures. Please always download the most resecent version from http://www.dev-software.comThe current version is a prealpha version and is therefore unstable. I'm searching for committed testers. Note that you need to install VC++ 2010 redist which can be found here: x64 x86The current release version is 0.003 (prealpha). Best Wishes, Timo Stark

you still need the css file? looks really nice now. Wish it was a later version with css3 though(ff 4 or chrome)
It does what it needs to do though. Not necessary but if you have time after getting to maybe a rc version 1.0 you may think about implementing that. And oh, check chrome embedded framework for that. Valve steam also uses that.

I loved this project right from the point when I opened my main file and it automatically created a list of all other files that are linked into it. Wicked. I'll try to find my way into the debugging methods... Speaking of debugging: I get this error when clicking on "Debugging->Debug Settings". When I click cancel, it then shows the settings just fine... http://somepic.someserver.de/pics/big/323e7de011b35460ba893c15bb750f5e.png

crashes when i try to run. i have my directories set correctly and have installed the runtime. using windows 7 x64. EDIT: I have a multitude of feelings towards this program. on one hand... amazing effort. The features are sooo much better than sed. all of that said... ihateyou. its just tantalizing enough playing with it that I wish i could but i cant run programs in it, everytime it loads it sets my litec tab size to like -217xxxx and it crashes within minutes of use All kidding aside, great project i cant wait to see what becomes of it. i will be keeping an eye on this one. EDIT 2: and now its even worse, i go back to SED and immediately miss the tree list of project files... i hate your awesome program... so thanks for the tease.
