Hi again me !

Just bought a8 com a few minutes ago. First thing i want to check is normalmapping on level geometry. Did i read that right, ill just have to add a file with "_n" on the end to my wad file ?
f.Ex. i have the texture "Wall_tex" than i only need to add "Wall_Tex_N" normalmap to my wad ? and then everything is fine ?

yes, and also assign mtl_specBump or your desired material to that block

alpha channel for specularity in color map ?

Ok iam a owner of a8 com now ! But...
Ive added a texture "fliesen12.tga" to my wad. Than ive added "fliesen12_n.tga". Than ive applied the mtl_specbump to my hollowed room. But when i run theres no difference ?

Can someone help please ?
By the way: Lite-C sucks. Why case-sensitive ??!?

Set d3d_automaterial to 1 : no difference. If i set it to 4 engine Crashes !

Damn ! WED crashes soooooo often, this never happened to me before...he just crashes and crashes....sucks!

@Painkiller
Pressed F11 twice, the walls are just grey than

Edit: My model with normalmap and mtl_specbump works, but the walls : no effect

Thats true.
Also the 4 windows in WED (front, side, backi, 3d), disapear if you run the game from WED sometimes.

WED crashed 4 times in the last 20minutes...with older versions ive never seen wed crash (same system). Engine crashed 1 time in 20 minutes (never before)

But why are the normalmap not working on the * blocks ?

1.Loaded Texture into WAD
2.Loaded normal into WAD (same name with _n at its end)
3.Applied mtl_specBump to Blocks
4.Set d3d_automaterial to 1

no normalmapping ?

Edit: Tryed both normal and color in 24 and 32bit. What else can i do to get this std. feature working ?
