Okay, I just watched their video for the third time and its really impressive work, no doubt. But, there is some really evil texture flickering in the video. I don't know where it comes from, the plugin or something else, and I certainly don't want to say that the plugin is bad (it certainly isn't), but this is highly annoying and doesn't look really professional.

I will finally judge the quality of it, when the demo is available.

Yes that really is nice and also quite cheap... The problem is, that probably nobody or at least nearly nobody would buy it if I or someone else would develop something like that for gamestudio. The reason is probably that the unity community is a lot bigger and unity is more expensive, which means that everyone paying for unity, which interestingly seem to be quite a lot, is probably more serious about gamedev than those here owning gamestudio comm and thus also willing to invest more money into their games.

@Slin: I agree with you.
When you see last games like Galactica Online and others, this is bigger things going on, more teams , so more money to invest in tools !

agreed. most people dont have enough textures in there project on here to even warrant any need for something like this.

Actually you dont need many textures for that technique. You could texture the entire world with one huge texture as far as I understood.

But in reality I think it will be used to apply a couple of bigger texture or to use really big lightmaps. Anyway, it could be a nice tool.

you could, but not the route i'd probably take... seems like it would be a lot of work unless you wrote your own texturing tool to make it easier. idk maybe not. either way, very interesting software for those that could use it. The flckering that was mentioned... i noticed it, but not really it is weird. I could tell it was there, but i could never really pinpoint what it was.
