mtl_lens needs to be applied to the lens view itself, not to the model skins

you have also to set mtl_lens.skill1=floatv(50); and mtl_lens.skill2=floatv(50);

I know that and even already tried, I even used mtl_setup to change lens's position, same no result...

I found this on youtube, it's made with unity (you'll find scope on 2:44):

The guy who made it says that he didn't even use any shaders to make lens effect, he said he made an offset for the lens texture... Is that a right way to go in GS as well? Should I use v and u for moving lens texture?

grin Dude, I'm not having problems with aiming or zooming! I've done those things already. I'm thinking about making realistic scope effect, please take a look at the video I've posted above (or last picture on first post), you'll see what I mean.

If you separate the lens model from the scope, you can just shift the lens u and v. Just shift them to the opposite direction of the scope

Thank you bro, I'm currently thinking about placing two bones on the scope part of the model, and then to shift U and V (or I'll make offset's for view if possible) according to those two bones which will return weapon angles.. That way it'll be more realistic (for example while shooting, and not aiming but simply carrying weapon). Do you think, that it'll be possible this way?

Why bone? Using two or three vertex is enough I think.
