I'm thinking about changing engine (or to start learning new engine additional), so I'm looking forward to start working with UDK. So I wanted to hear from you guys, your opinion about this engine. May be some of you worked with it, or tried it out. As well, I want to hear your opinion about other engines, which you might advice.
I bought a book half a year ago "Unreal Game Development" which gives you a nice insight into the engine. So if you are looking for literature consider this one
Personally, I came back to Gamestudio but not because UDK is bad but it needs time to get used to it. Nevertheless, it is easy to reach nice graphics and the (map) editor is just great!
Thank you for response To be honest I'm not worry much about map editor, I'm a little bit afraid that it'll be extremely hard (or even impossible) for me to learn unrealscript, since I'm very bad with math and lite-c with c-script are the only programming languages I know. So am afraid to lose time by trying to learn it.
