The MED help indicates that there is a FBX Export in MED but mine does not have it. I only have 3ds, ASCII, and ASC. I have the latest A8 Commercial installed. My MED version is 6.921. Is a plugin required? Thank ypu.

Copy the fbx-dlls from the med_plugins folder of an older acknex version into the med_plugins folder of your current version.
Then you are able to export to fbx.

Maybe, you can download the A7 version from the download page at the bottom of that site.

I read somewhere that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable contains it as well.

Actually I already have FbxFiles2010.dll in my C:\Program Files\GStudio8\med_plugins directory but no FBX Export in MED.

Also I have a WedFbxLevel2010.dll in C:\Program Files\GStudio8\wed_plugins but no FBX Export in WED either.

Ah, your right, 2011 only provides import, I added the dlls for fbx(11.2006) and fbx (12.2005) from an older version.

Since I already have these files, why do I not have FBX functioality?

I already have the VC2010 Redist. installed. I searched for all files with FBX in their names but did not see anything that I should copy to the MED plugins folder. Do you know the names of the files that I should copy? Thanks.
