Anyone posted http://www.digital-tutors.com ?

Some GREAT quicktime tutorials for Maya and photoshop. They've also been expanding on their ZBrush tuts as well. Great for learning the nitty-gritty in Maya

Thanks laethyn. Added to bookmarks.
I haven't seen many tutorial links on the master list.
I added my last link on the wiki since it wasn't included in this list update

Hey brilliant thread!

Me, I am so pleased with Gimpshop that I've actually dumped using Photoshop for it! It's basically the powerful Gimp editor, but configured to look and act like photoshop, so you haven't really got to learn much in order to use it.

Plus it has my favorite color-wheel type color picker, that Adobe wouldn't touch b/c of patent problems! WoooooOoo gimp shop!

I look forward to a 3D paint app like Deep Paint 3D, based in Gimpshop.

Maybe there's something similar already in Blender.

Sorry if this is already in the thread,
Do any of the 2D editors here allow you to take photos of buildings and say get a side of a building in perspective, line 4 corners of a aquare up to each end and then the editor will make it a flat texture as if it was looking from head on?

I know Photoshop and Corel Paint Shop Pro you can do this but is there anything cheaper or free?

A new update has been submitted. Most if not all of the 3DGS specific entries have been reinstated, and I've added three new entries...the first to 3D and the rest to Other:

1. Open 3D Project
2. 3D Science
3. Generic NDA

It may take a few days for the update to show up depending on how long it takes the mod to post it.

I think you should add this too. It is something like gamedev, but it has a very good reference and updates on the 3D engines.
