And apart from that: Which game engine is made by a legendary man whose newest plan is to ship a banking software that will be able to intelligently soak up all the money from the financial world to give it to the poor?

I have been with GS since the A5 as well, and have used other engines....I stick with this one because it is the easiest to learn, the forums our friendly and full of useful advice, and this engine is capable of doing anything you put your mind to....Sometimes you have to think outside the box.....but their is not one thing I have wanted to program, that I could not do in this engine.... so +1 all the way
