You´re not the first one. Seems they could improve their PR a lot.
But this should made it quite clear:
Quote:

We're a group of six indie game developers who are fond of game jams. Game jams are fun, but sometimes we have to eat and pay rent, so we thought that we could do a game jam as a public performance! The basic ideas for the games are provided and voted on by the audience. We'll spend a whole weekend working on the games, streaming it all on live video to the internet. Feed an indie today!

You can spend a dollar (or more) and then you´ll be able to download the games. A sort of crowdfunded game jam.

Wonderful game ideas grin

"Time travel stealth game where you are avoiding copies of yourself from the past/future." -> Retro highscore game?

"Roguelike set in an office building. It's your first day at work and you have to climb to the top to become the CEO. [...]" -> Mad TV game type

"A game about a pirate trying to be an astronaut." -> Point n Click Adventure

"Pacman with tower defense elements, played in a huge world. eat dots and use them to build defenses against the ghosts" -> highscore game

And it´s nice to see what they made out of these ideas in only 48 hours. laugh
The money of course goes to the developers. Is it really too hard to get the concept?

just a very odd presentation. doesn't give much info at once, requires extra navigation. not a insult, just observation.

cool concept. kinda wanted to do this once, but questioned how well it'd work.

Seems like Fogman is the only one who got the concept at once. I din`t understand it, too, without his description via Skype. laugh

Sorry, doesn´t meant as offense. I was just surprised. It really seems they could have done better communication.

I spent a bit - and was already impressed by the first of the games (Rose and Time) - although, the third level was so difficult that I still didn't finish it.
