Hi!
I have A7 Commercial edition.
I would like to know, if i change the default nexus value with the usage of -nx command line option, like this: -nx 160, the compiled exe will contain this value and will work corresponding to this? (160 MB memory will be allocated for entities, textures, geometry)
Thanks in advance.

as i know, you need a batch file wich starts the exe with startup commands..
or a Starter exe wich starts the game/program itself with your commands in an exec

I would be happy to see a way to change commandline values inside a script, instead of the external starting things..
Cause "-nw" is not working without a starter, too ._.

you can avoid command line nexus max setting by loading an empty wmb file having the desired value set in WED. but you can use a bat file, and the free bat to exe converter (there's a link somewhere in this forum).

The empty wmb file would set the nexus only for that level, so if you change levels you'd need to set the nexus in all your WMB files.

and for those who don't use wed... a second exe or batch file isn't really a smart way to avoid command lines.. since other engines can handle that without them by easy..
why not A8?

it's not really pretty to put a batchfile or a second exe intothe game folder, just to use -nw or -nx or anything else..

if the project is compiled from WED, where the opened level is an empty level with nexus 200, and the desired main script is attached, due to my experiences nexus max remains 200 after multiple level loads. they can be empty levels (NULL), or wmb levels with smaller nexus.
if compiled from SED, nexus can be set only by -nx 200.

That's right, I must correct myself: It's sufficient to publish in WED with an empty level and the desired nexus setting.

It is certainly not recommended to distribute a game with a "batch file" for setting the nexus.

make an empty: create a new map in WED, save (wmp), and compile (wmb).

Why? I don't need and i don't use WED, wmp, wmb.
So i repeat my question:
