The platform cartoon is not bad at all.


But it would be better to have 3D tiles system instead of predefined platforms :
- Rounded begin corner
- midle segments
- rounded end corner (begin corner mirrored)

Caus with middle segments 3D tiles people can make horizontal platform with any lenght.
