Es muss hier einfach mal gesagt werden. Was den Rendering Speed von gifs angeht ist der IE ungeschlagen. Da sollte sich Chrome mal ne Scheibe von abschneiden.

sin(Pi/4) = sqrt(1/2) = 1/sqrt(2) = sqrt(2)/2 = cos(Pi/4)
