Hi. I'd like to try to summarize what I've been reading, ask questions, get confirmation, & whatever else to get the current Big Picture status & future plans re. Brokers & Zorro:

a) The only broker currently supported via direct API is FXCM.
b) Is any other direct API support currently in development?
c) If not, is any other direct API support planned to be implemented within <insert timeframe here laugh >?
d) If not, is there any short list of direct API support that would be the high priority(s) to implement when/if resources/help become available?
e) Any broker supporting MT4 (not MT5?) is supported indirectly via the MT4 interface. However, MT4/MT5 brokers can be problematic due to the Virtual Dealer situation. This is not just a Zorro issue as Virtual Dealer happens at the back end and so affects all EA's as well as manual trading. Are there brokers who have publicly committed to not using Virtual Dealer? Or who are known to not use it?
g) Other brokers with website trading can be interfaced via Zorro's mouse control & keystroke entry facilities, but these must be programmed individually by the user. And these brokers may have their own Virtual Dealer equivalents at the back end...
h) And of course Zorro's signals could be manually traded. (With the same Virtual Dealer concern...)

Is this correct? (With the questions answered...)

Thanks.

Hey DdlV, just wanted to comment that both brokers I use have publicly committed not to use Virtual Dealer plugin: IBFX and Oanda.

Also, I'm pretty sure Zorro provides example source code for writing an API interface. This would mean that someone else (like yourself or a hired coder) could contribute an interface to a different brokers API.

Thanks dusktrader. Do you have links to IBFX's & Oanda's Virtual Dealer statements?

Yes, Zorro has API info. But I was hoping to get as clear a picture as possible of the current state of things before I (or anyone else?) might pick a particular direction(s)...

Thanks.
