bmap-fonts with custom per-character width laugh
...unfortunately, every character's width needs to be hardcoded, but after that it works perfectly.

edit: Seems like generating the text is reeaally slow. This only needs to be done when the text changes but in the example this just barely works within a single frame (at 60 fps).
So if there's a lot of changing text, it could cause fps drops smirk

=> damn bmap_blitpart, looks like I'll have to write a shader for that.

try using bmap_rendertarget and draw_quad, should be much faster wink

wow, never heared of bmap_rendertarget, thanks, I'll try that.

but first I've got to understand that funcion grin

edit: err, yeah. I have not the slightest clue about how to use these.

just a small example:
bmap_rendertarget(yourTarget, 0, 0);
draw_quad(...) // replaced bmap_blit
bmap_rendertarget(NULL, 0, 0);

Well, I don't know what this function exactly does, so I don't know under what circumstances I have to use it and everything... sorry confused
(It's probably not even going to work for my case, although it would be pretty cool because I could color the text much easier and also because of the performance, of course)
